SPRUCE PINE, N.C. — Report of an alarm activation at a residence located in the 100 block of Sunshine Hill Street. Emergency responders were requested.
Reported by the alarm company as a fire alarm activation. Emergency responders with Spruce Pine Fire and Rescue and Parkway Fire and Rescue were requested to respond to the scene for further investigation.
Update: An emergency responder on scene advised the alarm was activated due to burnt food and that any further response be cancelled and return to service.
