SPRUCE PINE, N. C. — A local non-profit will be hosting weekly support group meetings for domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their families.
Mitchell County SafePlace will be hosting “Fresh Start” every Monday between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, which is located at 15 Hemlock Avenue in Spruce Pine. The classes are aimed to help domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and their families.
