BAKERSVILLE, N. C. — An upcoming rabies and microchip clinic will be hosted by Mitchell County Animal Rescue at a local fire department.
Mitchell County Animal Rescue will be hosting a rabies, vaccinations, microchip, and de-worming clinic at Bakersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue, at 306 Baker Lane, on Saturday, April 22, 2017 between 1 pm and 4 pm.
Vaccinations will cost $10, micro-chipping will cost $25, and de-worming is $5. You can also sign up your pet for low-cost spay or neuter. Surgery for dogs and female cats is $60, and male cats is $41.
Half price will be offered to animal owners that receive government assistance. Proof of assistance, such Medicaid, EBT, or Disability Benefits, must be presented at the time of registration to qualify.
