What Happened to Mitchell County Alerts?

As all of you noticed, we sort of just…. disappeared! DUI and License Checkpoints This Weekend!

As many of you may have already heard, there were several checkpoints last night in our area. We did not disclose those locations on our site. I’m sure there will be more tonight, and if so, those locations will not be disclosed here, either. As a motorist, you and your passengers should prepare yourselves for the worst when you get in a motor vehicle and travel. Life Alert Pendants

Earlier I helped my grandma with setting up one of the medical alert pendant systems, as well as filling out all the paperwork associated with it. Since she recently had a light stroke, she is unable to perform little things we take for granted such as writing with a pen. The system comes with two pendants. The final process of activating the system is using the pendants to make a “test call” and advising the person that answered that we were testing the equipment out.
